Yes, its sad but true, that pretty much the vast majority of so called "Black acheivements" in the United States, before the civil rights movements, were made by Mulattos. I wouldnt attribute it to racial superiority though, but rather to superior social mobility and longer standing social establishment and education. Remember, lots of blacks were more recent arrivals to the US than Mulattos. I think Blacks need to point out the actual inventors, thinkers, politicians, and so forth who were really black and leave us alone.

ZZZzzz... Interestingly whites never feel the need to say: "Actually whites skin color isn't actually white it's more of a light brown". Also this monkey doesn't represent blacks in general (funny how you immediately thought it did) - it represents you. The similarity between you and this monkey in terms of posture and situation is undeniable. Like I said monkeys come in all races.
By the way there is the Black Howler Monkey (Alouatta nigra) as well. So what?

That's curious. Also In Latin America, all the great "Black" personalities have been Mulattoes, of influential white fathers.
Examples:
St. Martin of Porres (Saint of the Catholic church)
Aleijhandino (to Brazilian-Barroque sculpture)
Gil de Castro (also known as the "Mulato Gil")
Nicolas Guillen (top Cuban poet)
But there are two example of Black peoples that were outstandings and that, I believe, are pure African:
Celia Cruz (Cuban singer)
Pele (Brazilian soccer player)
