Mulattos have every right to say who they are but let's face it...you may be a mulatto but that dosn't mean your a seperate race. I don't really see all the hype about being a mulatto. Having one parent who had slave descendants and the other a white SUCKS.

Answer me this mulattos; what is it about whites that you adore? Is it their history as a people? If so, you are going to be sadly disappointed since whites were always seen as barbarians in the times of civilization. The only true civilized group were the romans and greeks. EVERY other country simply adopted those cultures and basically called it their own. (HAH! )

The thing is, someone who is a mulatto is half black. What is illogical is that a mulatto would be racist to its black side, since that side is the "weaker" side if you will. In this society, the whole mulatto concept is tied to being half black in a white dominated society. So that if you go up to someone and say you're a mulatto, they will say "oh, you're half black, interesting, tell me about your black side". But if you denigrate that side, what is implied is that society will just see you as a "half white" in itself which is silly. The reason that Eurasians are "accepted" as mixed people whereas mulattos most often are not is because a Eurasian has a white side and an asian side any of which can stand on its own. But if a mulatto constantly attacks its black side, it can only stand on its white side - ie, a house divided. Society will always see you in relation to your non-white side, or at least relate to you through that side. In other words, society doesn't see a "half white person"; they see a half-non white person. Half Asian, Half Black, Half Indian, etc ..So for a "mulatto" to call a 'black person" Nigger is surreal because after you identify yourself as a "mulatto" you're inevitably going to talk about your black side to whoever is inquiring about your ancestry - be it at a social function or to friends. Whereas "white" most always can withstand any attack from anyone. Conclusively, I think I can ascertain this with 100% confidence: the more black people are denigrated as a whole, the situation for self-identified "mulattos" will become worse.
